Melrose Hotel is part of a story that began when we (Johnny and Abby) bought the old Broadway Church just months before our own wedding. As we learned everything about weddings—while planning our own—and brought together my (Johnny’s) background in hospitality and her (Abby’s) gift for design, we poured that knowledge into creating the boutique hotel we always wished existed.

Whether you're staying for a wedding at Melrose Abbey or simply visiting Kansas City, we wanted this to be more than a place to sleep. We wanted it to be an experience.

Thoughtfully restored and set in a central location with quick access to so much of the city, Melrose Hotel was designed to honor this historic building by giving guests a beautiful place to gather, celebrate, and create their own stories within its walls.
